The 128th Elite Auction of Hanoverian riding horses and foals will be held in Verden on April 12 and 13.
The collection of 62 riding horses in total features 40 carefully chosen dressage horses and 22 interesting jumpers. The collection is complemented by 45 foals.
The Elite Auction in April is one of the highlights in the Hanoverian schedule. There are many futurity prospects that started in Verden and finally managed to successfully compete at the higher levels of sport. The team silver medallist at the Olympic Games in London, Diva Royal, was sold in the Niedersachsenhalle in April five years ago, just like Codex One who represented the German colours in the show jumping course in London.
Lord Lohengrin is the cover hero of this auction brochure, and he is just about to start his international career. Quite a number of auction horses of the 128th Elite Auction already successfully participated at tournaments. And the foals descend from the best Hanoverian performance lines that will delight both, show jumping and dressage experts.
Following the selection, the photo and video shooting and the vet check, Auction Manager Jörg-Wilhelm Wegener is quite optimistic: “I should say that I would like to have seen more horses in this auction collection. But nevertheless, I am happy with the high quality of the horses. We have seen fantastic horses, and there are very interesting ones in this collection!”
The riding horses will arrive at the Niedersachsenhalle in Verden on April 2, to start their auction training for 13 days. The first presentation of the dressage horses will be on Wednesday, April 3, at 4.00 pm. The jumpers will have their first public presentation on Thursday, April 4, at 4.00 pm.
The Elite auction weekend will again be introduced by the Gala Evening Show. Guests from all over the world are invited to follow the spectacular Gala Evening Show, featuring a varied show program with Hanoverian auction and sport horses.
The Hanoverian Supporters Club will offer something special: A trip to the European Championships in Herning/Denmark will be raffled off for the benefit of the Supporters Club FRH. Accompany the FRH-horses to the highlight of the year 2013!
The foals will show up for a first inspection on Saturday, April 13, at 9.00 am in the outdoor ring before they will be presented in the Niedersachsenhalle for auction after the dressage and show jumping horses have been sold.
The auction will start on time at 3.00 pm.
