CIC* : 3 French riders in the lead, 2 British challengers follow at Le Pin
The international eventing show of Le Pin (FRA) )CIC1*/CIC2*/CIC3*-W – FEI Eventing World Cup) started this Wednesday at 8:30am with the dressage test of the CIC 1 star.
Three French riders are in the lead of this class at the end of the first day of the dressage test: Sophie Caron / Lartiste de Courthoe (43.1 pnts, 1st), Hervé Letheux / Odeon de Champloue (44.7 pnts, 2nd), and Thomas Bouquet / Omega du Rozel (45.0 pts, 3rd). They are followed by two British riders: Jodie McGregor / Spot On XII (45.3 pnts, 4th) and Will Furlong / Pioneer Silvie (47.0 pnts, 5th), ex aequo with Rodolphe Scherer (FRA) / Nessie de Preuilly. The end of the test will take place this morning at 8:30am.
After the vet inspection, the riders participating to the CIC 2 stars will start this morning (8:30am) with their dressage test.
At last, there are some changes in the entries of the CIC3*-W FEI World Cup class: Emily Baldwin (GBR) had to withdraw due to an injury, Clayton Fredericks (AUS) decided to ride “only” 2 horses in this class (and has let Bendigo at his stable), and Viorel Bubau (ROU) finally arrived in Le Pin with 2 horses.
