Eventing Winter Tour 2007 – Portugal

The ACCE – The Portuguese Eventing Association, together with Mata do Duque and Barroca d'Alva have decided to organize the 2007 Winter Tour to which all riders from every Nation are invited to participate.

17/18 November – Pre-Novice / Novice / CNC 1* – Barroca d'Alva
24/25 November – Pre-Novice / Novice / CNC 1* – Mata do Duque
1/2 December – Pre-Novice / Novice / Intermediate – Mata do Duque
7/8/9 December – Pre-Novice / Novice / Intermediate CIC 1*/ 2* – Barroca d'Alva

BOXES

Horses based at Centro Hípico Barroca D'Alva:
75 € / per horse (= 10 days minimum charge), thereafter 7 € per day / horse (includes tack box as 1 per every 5 horses, water, electrity, sanitary and all other training and riding facilities at Barroca).

Mata do Duque
30 € / per horse.

CIC's
As laid down on the Definitive Schedule. Those already competing and based at Barroca for the National Events, fall into the stabling arrangement as above. Hay, straw, feed etc. will also be available as reasonable prices.

ENTRY FEES:

National Events – 70 €
CIC's – 150 € (Riders with more than one horse will have a 15% discuount per additional horse).

PRIZES

There will be prizes of significant value sponsored by ACCE for all National Classes up to the first 5 placed competitors of each class as well as various special prizes and trophies.

In addition there will be 2 special suplementary overall best combination trophies for the whole tour in respect of the 1* and 2* levels, based on the ACCE points system which covers the National and International Events of the Tour.

N.B. To compete in Portuguese National Events, foreign Riders and horses will pay a one off nominal fee to the Portuguese Equestrian Federation. For riders this is in respect of the minimum compulsory insurance cover, as follows:

Riders – 25 €
Horses – 30 €
