German Eventers Win Nations Cup / Michael Jung Outstanding Rider Of The Event
The start into the green season has been like a fairy tale for the German eventers.
Michael Jung with Leopin, Andreas Dibowski with FRH Fantasia, Kai Rüder with Leprince des Bois and Andreas Ostholt on Franco Jeas claimed victory of the Nations Cup (162,1). Runner-up was the team from France (194,1) followed by the Netherlands (240,3).
Michael Jung was the outstanding rider of the event. He did not only win 3* competition with Sam (41,0), but also placed first and second in the CCI* competition with his young horses. Michael Jung was extremely satisfied with all three horses especially in the dressage and the cross.
The Australian Clayton Fredericks became runner-up with his nine-year-old Westfalian Brookleigh (41.9 minus points).
The Aussie also placed fifth with his mare Be My Guest (50,7).
