New international eventing classes organized in South of France
Rafaël Mazoyer, French international eventing rider and member of the French team, convinced the team of the 3 Fountains Riding Center that it was time to organize an international eventing show. From 17 to 20 November 2011, Le Pouget, some kilometers north west of the Mediterranean capital Montpellier, will welcome its first international eventing classes after having organized several nationale elite classes since 15 years. An ideal way to end the season and prepare young or unexperienced horses on soft and educational courses.
In the equestrian estate of the 3 Fountains, an ancient vineyard owned by the department of the Herault, a CIC 1 star and a CIC 2 stars will welcome most of the top French riders and some top foreign ones from all over Europe. Important works have been already done by the organizing committee to set a new cross country course, designed and built by Pierre Le Goupil, that many international riders know as beeing the course designer of Le Pin (CIC3*-W) and Lignières-en-Berry (CCI2*).
Didier Dhennin, member of the French eventing team and 6th at the last Olympic Games, will be patron of the show. Many French riders applied in one or two classes yet, such as Karim Laghouag, Jean Teulère, Mathieu Lemoine and Thomas Carlile. Everything will be done to warmly welcome all the foreign riders: securized stables, possibility to book rooms around the show, and of course parties and fiestas.
