Darragh Kenny has ‘dream’-like win in Wellington (VIDEO)
Last to go in a three-horse jump-off, Darragh Kenny (IRL) and Classic Dream raced straight to the top of the $213,300 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Wellington (USA).
Cassio Rivetti (BRA) and Bacara d’Archonfosse finished second, with Devin Ryan (USA) and Eddie Blue, runners-up from the 2018 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final (FRA), third.
Beezie Madden (USA) took over the lead in the east coast sub league standings of the North American League with a sixth-place finish. She now has 59 points, three ahead of Brian Moggre (USA) with 56 points. Adrienne Sternlicht (USA), who won the legs at both Thermal (USA) and Las Vegas (USA), sits third in the standings with 46 points.
On the west coast, Karl Cook (USA) continues to lead the way with 58 points. Rivetti moved into second with 46 points, while Ashlee Bond (ISR), Del Mar’s winner, is third with 39 points.
