Uno Donna Unique is her name which means unique lady and she is the winner of the qualifikation for the finale of the World Championshops for six-year-old dressage horses at Verden with a mark of 9.46. This black daughter of Don Schufro out of a dam by Falkland and her rider Andreas Helgstrand (Denmark) already won the silver medal in the class for five-year-old dressage horses in 2009. One year later the Danish bred horse lady puts the World Champion of 2009 – Honnerups Driver – a little in the shadow, at least in the qualifier. For her trot she received the maximum mark of 10, her walk was rewarded with a 9.5 and also clearly over nine also the marks for submissiveness and total impression.
In der presentation ceremony spectators welcomed the athletic Uno Donna Unique with much applause and enthusiasm, which excited the six-year-old enormously….
Second place went to Hanoverian bred Soliere, a six-year-old son of Sandro Hit-Donnerhall, who was presented at Verden by Eva Möller (Hagen a.T.W.). The pair reached a total mark of 9.12. Sweden`s warmblood breed conquered third place – Deja by Silvano-Don Schufro who was presented by Anna Svanberg and achieved a total mark of 8.84.
Qualified for the finale are also the World Champion of 2009, Honnerups Driver by Romanov Blue Hors-Don Schufo and the third placed of the WCh 2009 and Bundeschampion, Blickpunkt by Belissimo M-Weltmyer. Honnerups Driver reached fifth place, Blickpunkt placed seventh. Directly qualified for the finale are the twelve best horses of the qualification as well as three more horses of the so-called small finale on Saturday.
The five-year-old dressage horses are already going to compete for Gold, Silver and Bronze on Saturday – the WCh finale of the young candidates is going to start at 3.00 pm. If follows the small finale of six-year-old dressage horses.
