On the press release published on our website, on June 8th about the “Three best Portuguese riders among the best in the world”, Equisport wrongfully reported, based on the information from the FEI Dressage World Ranking nº 113 of May 31st, 2010, in which the Portuguese riders had these rakings: Maria Moura Caetano (Útil) 77th, Gonçalo Carvalho (Rubi) 81st and Daniel Pinto (Galopin de la Font) 90th position.
After a detailed verification of the FEI World Ranking nº 113 of May 31st, 2010, we noticed serious errors on the FEI ranking, whereby riders appear with double results, others with participations and victories in the USA etc.
Equisport has already asked the FEI to correct the Ranking nº 113. We are aware that the Portuguese Equestrian Federation, after being contact by Equisport, has already informed the FEI of the world ranking mistakes, which could affect the named riders and horses.
Whilst the FEI does not correct the current ranking, Equisport sincerely apologizes to riders, owners, breeders and sponsors of any inconvenience that might have been generated by the published press release.
