It has been speculated in the press, that either Matthias Rath or Andreas Helgstrand, will take over the ride on Moorlands Totilas from Edward Gal. Matthias may have gained this incredible opportunity by his Stepmother buying the riding rights to Totilas.
Can you imagine paying so much for a horse? Irrespective that he is an amazing horse, I wonder wether he will pass on his talent to his offspring. If his progeny does not meet the high standards, Totila's breeding value will certainly go down the line.
