Tremendous show at Hagen while Hagen meets Italy

Last year the CDI at Hof Kasselmann in Hagen a.T.W. in Germany reached new visitor records with 54.000, an incredible amount. At that time made Ullrich Kasselmann already dream from another special item for the 2009-edition. It was found in Italy. Beautiful Italian voices made the atmosphere very special, while sport was at its best.

British Laura Bechtolsheimer won both the Grand Prix and the Special while German Heike Kemmer just like last year in Hagen was the best in the Freestyle to music and the Grand Prix for the Freestyle.

German team gold medal combination Heike Kemmer and Bonaparte won the Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday following her Grand Prix victory at the Horses and Dreams CDI 3* in Hagen.

Kemmer and Bonaparte scored 76.25 per cent in the freestyle over Russia’s Alexandra Korelova and Balagur with 75.95 per cent and German veteran Hubertus Schmidt and Prego finishing third with 73 per cent.

Laura Bechtolsheimer and her Olympic mount scored 74.37% while Germany’s Matthias Alexander Rath on Sterntaler-Unicef was second, as he was in the Grand Prix, with 73.96% and Imke Schellekens-Bartels on Hunter Douglas Sunrise of The Netherlands was third with 71.87 per cent.
