After the CAI-B, held between 16 and 21 March, the first of the two international events that make up the VI Iberian Driving Cup, Monte da Ravasqueira will host, from 22 to 26 March, a CAI-A, the highest level of event only surpassed by the world championship, for the classes of singles, pairs, four-in-hand and four-in-hand ponies.
The CAI-A features Dressage, Marathon and Obstacle Driving, with more than 80 competitors from Germany, Netherlands Antilles, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, France, Netherlands, Hungary, Italy, Norway, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Switzerland and Portugal.
The CAI-B and CAI-A events are on the Calendar of Events of the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI) and are held at Herdade da Mata, a property that is part of Monte da Ravasqueira, situated next to the village of Santana do Campo, against a backdrop of distinctive Alentejo landscape of rare beauty.
