CEIO International Endurance Team Event, Compiegne (FRA)

Europe’s second CEIO competition for the year, was held last weekend In near ideal conditions in Compiegne. The successful Compiègne International Endurance Team Event attracted some 68 entries from 14 Nations.

Belgium proved to be unbeatable on the day, silver went to Spain while Germany took home the bronze.

The Individual classification table was topped by Maria Alvarez Ponton from Spain riding ISKA. This combination recorded an average speed of 18.912kph for the 160 kms course, producing a blistering speed of 25.955kph on the last phase.

Once again, the Compiègne Organisers were able to provide everyone with a challenging course, a venue of the highest quality set amid the beautiful forest of Compiègne and perfect facilities for the riders, horses, back up crews and the many spectators who came to witness one of the leading events in the FEI Endurance Calendar.
