«For The Best» 37,000 Euros price highlight of the 6th Schockemöhle Online Foal Auction
The prize highlight of the sixth online foal auction, initiated by the stallion station of Paul Schockemöhle, was For The Best. For 37,000 Euros, the perfect moving son from the first crop of Fürst Toto (by Fürstenball-Totilas), who on his mother’s side goes back to the famous Oldenburg line of Kastete, switched to customers in Australia.
In Germany, on the other hand, the second most expensive dressage foal, Dantino, will grow up with 19,000 Euros. His sire is the sire debutant Dante’s Junior (by Dante Weltino). His dam already produced the two licensed stallions Blue Hors Farrell and Figaro von Nymphenburg. Customers invested 18,000 Euros in Fürsten Love, a stallion bred by Fürstenball-Sir Donnerhall.
The most expensive show jumping foal was Presley Blue. Buyers from Spain secured the promising daughter of the World Championship jumper Presley Blue (Mother by Chacco-Blue-Conthargos) for 16,500 Euros. Chacco’s London (by Chaccon Blue), a colt out of the line of the team World Champion and World Cup third P.S. Priamos with Ludger Beerbaum, cost 14,500 Euros.
All in all, the ten dressage and six show jumping bred top offers, all descending from stallions of Paul Schockemöhle’s stallion station, achieved a turnover of 210,000 Euros at an average price of 13,125 Euros. Six of the foals went to customers abroad, two each to Australia and Spain.
