Northern Racing takes pole for Silverstone deal

Northern Racing, which runs nine horse-race tracks, said on Monday it was preferred bidder for a 25-year contract to operate Silverstone Racing Circuit, home to Formula One's British Grand Prix.

Northern Racing said in a statement details of its proposal will be put before members of British Racing Driver's Club Ltd. at a meeting on February 22.
