Ben Maher latest ambassador for ILPH

Ben Maher has agreed to become the latest ambassador for the ILPH (International League for the Protection of Horses).

Up and coming British show jumper Ben Maher was keen to become involved with the work of the ILPH. He was initially drawn to the charity because of the practical work it does in the UK, believing in its philosophy of a world where the horse should be used and never abused.

Ben will be working on the ILPH Stand in Hall 1 stand number B5(d) at Horse of the Year Show to sign autographs and meet members of the public. He will also be attending the HOYS Stage and will be talking about his hopes for the future and his work with the ILPH.

Commenting on his new role Ben said: “I am impressed with the work that the ILPH do both here and abroad. The network of Field Officers in the UK working to improve the life of the horse and the fact that they believe that horses should be used but never abused. I'm all for that and if I can help I'm only too pleased to add my voice.”
