FEI Schedules for the triple European Championships in jumping, dressage and para-dressage.

FEI Directors John P. Roche and Trond Asmyr have signed the official FEI Schedules for the triple European Championships in jumping, dressage and para-dressage.

ECCO FEI European Jumping Championships

The schedule for jumping contains the detailed planning for the European Championships and the CSI3* competition including over 30 officials and their respective roles.

The horse inspections are scheduled for Monday 19 August at 13:00-15:00 in the afternoon but the stables open already Sunday, welcoming all guests whether it is the four-legged athletes or riders and grooms. The championship athletes are invited to try out the arena already Monday before the first serious session starts with the speed competition Tuesday 20 August. The team competition continues Wednesday with round 1 and goes into the team final Thursday where the team medals will be handed out at the prize giving ceremony. The CSI3* starts Friday when the championship horses have a day of rest before going into the individual final Saturday; a day of medals and an amazing show evening

BLUE HORS FEI European Dressage Championships

The dressage schedule is finalised and contains details for the European Championships and the CDI-U25 tour. No less than twelve judges and the Judges Supervisory Panel will serve during the event.

For the dressage horses the stables open Sunday 18 August just as for the jumpers to accommodate for athletes that need time to settle in after having travelled from afar. The horse inspection is scheduled for Tuesday 20 August at 10:00-12:00. The long Grand Prix competition, the team class, is divided over two days, 21 and 22 August, with a medal ceremony for the placed teams Thursday 22 August. The U25 tour is held Wednesday with an Intermediare II and the final on Friday 23 August with the specially adapted Grand Prix 16-25 programme. The 30 best combinations continue Friday 23 August in the Grand Prix Special with the first individual medals distributed.

Saturday means a bit of rest for both horses and riders, as there are no complementary classes on this level. Sunday is the grand dressage final for the fifteen best combinations with the freestyle and individual medals to be won.

JYSK FEI European Para-dressage Championships

The para-dressage schedule was approved 6 May with a final update 22 May. Seven judges with one reserve will serve the CPDEI4* JYSK FEI European Para-Dressage Championships.

The para-riders and their horses are welcomed to the stables in Herning from Sunday 18 August and have their horse inspection two days later in the afternoon of Tuesday 20 August followed by the draw for the team competition at 16:00. Grade II and IV start out in the team competition Wednesday 21 August, and the three classes for Grade Ia, Ib and III follow Thursday 22 August. The two days of team competition are concluded with a team medal prize ceremony. The individual championships continue Friday and Saturday with the classes for Grade II and IV starting out and Grade Ia, Ib and III finishing. This allows a day of rest for each athlete and their horse between the team competition and individual performances.

On Sunday 25 August there is the Freestyle for all grades. Qualified to start is the upper third of the original entered combinations for each grade and the championships end with a medal and prize giving ceremony for the winners.
