Martina Hingis will start again

The most successful Swiss tennis player Martina Hingis is back on the international circuit. But not with a tennis racket in her hand, but with boots, spurs and on a horse.

After the positive cocaine test at Wimbledon tennis tournament on the 29th June 2007, she was been banned by the International Tennis Federation for two years.

This ban was also applicable to all other sports, therefore, Hingis could not compete in equestrian competitions.

On the 1st October the ban was is finally lifted and this Friday Martina will be back in the saddle competing at the CSI2* in San Remo, Italy.
