P.S.I. – The Countdown to the 31st Auction has begun
A total of 52 horses will be auctioned off at the 31st Performance Sales International in Ankum on December 11th and 12th.
They are first class dressage and jumping youngsters that have been bred or raised by the P.S.I. founders, Paul Schockemoehle and Ullrich Kasselmann – a total of nine stallions, 21 mares and 22 geldings. They are all between three to seven years of age and have been raised and trained in the stables of the P.S.I. organizers. The resonance is overwhelming and comes from all over the world; from Europe, Asia and also the USA.
The catalogue and dvd were sent to clients and contacts all over the globe and they promptly responded: A high action level has set in at the Hof Kasselmann and the Schockemoehle stables while the auction candidates can be tested up until the end of next week and all of the veterinary reports can be inspected. It’s an offer which is well accepted.
“We’ve had many interested parties here because it is normal for the trainers and riders to come in advance to select the perfect candidate for their clients or students,” commented Bettina Schockemoehle.
A perfect example of one of the true pearls in the collection is Balsandra, a six year old daughter of the triple World Cup Final winner Baloubet du Rouet. The famous stallion’s daughter has already achieved great success of her own in the sport. She won the German Federal Championships 2010 for show jumpers. A standout presence in the dressage collection is the four year old dark bay approved stallion Fort Knoxx, by Florencio, who is an absolute pleasure for his trainer Stefanie Kerner thanks to his fantastic uphill gallop.
The transport of the auction horses to the modernized auction centre in Ankum will take place during the week before the auction and it will also be possible to test the horses upon their arrival. It is a unique offer which helps clarify the development of the horses over the past weeks and months. It will also be possible to get a complete impression of the dressage collection on December 4th when the P.S.I. collection, or “treasure chest”, will be opened for the public.
The dressage horses will be presented in Ankum at 6 p.m. and clients, interested parties, breeders, riders – simply everyone; are invited.
