Seth turns his hoof to painting
Assistant Yard Manager, Vicky Greenslade has been helping Seth to create his masterpieces. “Painting can be a valuable form of enrichment for horses while they are in their stables. The horses come into their stables during opening hours and go out in the fields overnight. Seth is very intelligent and gets bored easily so we thought this would be something he could do during the day” said Vicky “Creating the artwork is safe for the animals and the paints are non-toxic and washable. Seth’s style is rather loose and modern. He has been described as an abstract impressionist. His big fleshy lips are not the easiest thing to hold a paintbrush with but he manages to produce some good work. We have been using clicker training to teach him his techniques.”
Seth has been showing off his painting skills to his many adoring fans during some of these presentations. “Seth is one of the most popular animals on HorseWorld's adoption scheme. He has a personality to match his immense size.” Said Kim Goddard, Marketing Coordinator at HorseWorld “When you adopt a horse, or other animal, with HorseWorld, you not only get to help your own special animal friend, but you receive a fun animal adoption pack specially made for your own adopted animal. Great value at just £20 your animal adoption pack will include a colourful certificate detailing your chosen animals story, regular updates, a half-price admission ticket to HorseWorld to visit your new friend, an invitation to your adopted animal’s birthday party and a cuddly version of your adopted animal in a presentation gift box.”
