Quinta da Bicuda Riding Centre focuses on youngsters

Newly reopened on 1 February 2006, the Quinta da Bicuda Riding Centre in Torre, Cascais, seeks to introduce and nurture in the younger generations an educational horse culture keeping in mind the natural bond between children and horses, ponies and nature generally.

The Centre offers experienced riding instructors accredited by the Portuguese Equestrian Federation ensuring a high level of teaching and instruction as well as promoting the educational element.

The Centre holds courses during the school holidays and is keen to ensure that its students develop their knowledge in relation to horse care and management.

Supporting riding school infrastructures include a riding arena, turning out paddocks, a pool, bar and approximately 30 stables.

There are currently students of all levels, including some with their own horses as well as ponies and riding school horses for vaulting and riding lessons.
