Preparations are progressing
The preparations for the ECCO FEI World Championships 2022 are progressing and everyone involved is working with great enthusiasm.
It is not only the Championship competitions that are in planning but there are also several international competitions to be held in the BB Horse Arena and at Stutteri Ask Stadium as part of the big event.
In addition to this, you can also look forward to the terrific Mustang Trailers Gala Show, Saturday night 13 August at Stutteri Ask Stadium.
Great support
The organisers behind the ECCO FEI World Championships 2022, Jens Trabjerg and Casper Cassøe, have great support for this huge event. ECCO Sko A/S is the Event Title Sponsor, while the Dressage competitions are presented by Blue Hors, the Jumping competitions by Agria, Para Dressage by Orifarm Healthcare, and Vaulting by Mustang Corp.
Helgstrand Dressage is the sponsor for the spacious VIP Lounge, while Longines is the Official Timekeeper.
Moreover, the Municipality of Herning, Sport Event Denmark, and Danish Equestrian Federation represent three deeply involved partners.
– We have met extremely positive support from sponsors and partners. It is much appreciated. With a 130 million DKK budget, it is indeed vital to work hard to secure the resources to carry out an event like this, Jens Trabjerg begins.
He continues: – Experience tells us that it can be difficult, and almost impossible, to finance the event of the FEI World Equestrian Games. We are of the opinion that the ECCO FEI World Championships 2022 on Danish soil should be sustainable – also financially. That goal, I believe we can meet.
Championships and much more
The entire area in front of Stutteri Ask Stadium and Jyske Bank Boxen will be transformed into a huge entertainment area called EquiPark. On the two stages, ECCO Square and Zibrasport Equest stage, spectators at the event and viewers at home will be able to watch various interviews, talks, and contests. A variety of exciting side events are also in the planning stage.
– No doubt that we will experience a high level of activities on the stages and in the fan zone in Equipark, Casper Cassøe says.
– We would like to spread the knowledge of the equestrian sport beyond the enthusiastic fans who guaranteed will follow the competitions on the three stadiums whether it being from the spectator’s seat in the arenas or on television. That is why there will be plenty of activities for all at EquiPark.
