PS Online Foal Auction – Betty Paula and For Amour the price highlights (VIDEO)

Sold for 33.000 euros, Betty Paula was the top price of the 4th edition of the PS-Online-Foal Auction that ended on Monday. The unique blaze of this bright young lady is just one of the numerous qualities of her bloodlines: special, performance-oriented and an athletic type. Amongst the dressage foals, the son of For Romance II-San Amour, For Amour, particularly stood out and was sold for 21.000 euros to Germany.

Betty Paula’s sire, Baloubet du Rouet, is and will always be a phenomenon of the German horse breeding. Baloubet du Rouet has left his mark on international show-jumping breeding, with internationally successful offspring from French, Belgian and Dutch breeding in particular. Betty Paula also promises to become an exceptional descendant of Baloubet du Rouet. And Betty Paula further combines very promising genes: Grand-dam La Donna has for example produced Napoli du Ry, Simon Delestre’s (FR) Olympian horse in London 2012. Napoli’s sire was Baloubet du Rouet – further proof that this blood combination works incredibly well! Betty Paula’s dam Caramba has also produced several internationally successful hoses, such as Tulum with Patricio Pasquel (MEX) who was internationally successful up to 1.60m and Betty Paula’s full brother, Balou’s Captain who achieved great results with Brazilian Eduardo Menezes. Bred at the Lewitz stud farm, Betty Paula has been sold to the USA with the perspective of a significant future.

At first, it is his mischievous look that attracts all eyes, then For Amour starts to move: elasticity, expressiveness and incredibly active hindquarters. An absolute raw diamond for dressage sport. For Amour combines chic and charm with exceptional paces – just like his sire, who has already convinced with typeful and strong moving offspring in his first crop of foals. His grand-dam Serpika has also built up an impressive reputation as a “dressage horse producer”. It will be a long wait until we can finally feel this concentrated dressage power, bred by Joachim Schönfeld (Bad Bramstedt), under saddle.

18 foals were sold during the fourth PS Online Foal Auction, with an average price of 14.694 euros and a total amount of 264.500 euros. The great interest from the USA was particularly noticeable during this auction. Exactly half of the 18 foals were sold to the USA, including the top price, Betty Paula.

With such a success, there is no doubt: After the auction is before the auction…

…and the next one will take place today from 30 August – 09 September.

From Big Star to Presley Boy, from Vitalis to Totilas…
