Robert Whitaker wins Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ qualifier in Helsinki (VIDEO)
Robert Whitaker and Vermento won the second leg of the FEI Jumping World Cup™ – Western European League 2024-2025. With ease they dominated the competition today in Helsinki (FIN). Kevin Staut (FRA) took second place, and Steve Guerdat (SUI) came in third.
Whitaker and his stallion Vermento proved to be the most agile combination in the jump-off, clocking a time of 36.84 seconds. Staut placed second after he and his Dialou Blue PS jumped a neat round and finished a very controlled round in a time of 37.11 seconds. Steve Guerdat and Is-Minka needed 37.56 seconds to complete their clear round.
Out of the 39 athletes competing in Helsinki today in this second Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Western European League qualifier, 13 athletes advanced to the jump-off, and eight of them managed to complete the jump-off clear.
