Schockemöhle Stable: Reinforcement in the management
Paul Schockemöhle has strengthened his business excellently in the last few months in the show jumping sector with Andreas Kreuzer and his daughter Vivien Schockemöhle as Managing Director respectively in the show jumping sector, both in management and sales. He has taken over the equestrian center in Damme rented by Andreas Kreuzer, including his successful crew. The horses have been transferred to Schockemöhle’s ownership. So Andreas Kreuzer can devote all his energy to the Paul Schockemöhle stable with its breeding, rearing, training and sales.
Vivien Schockemöhle has also maintained a very successful jumping stable in Hörstel near Riesenbeck with her life partner Emanuele Camilli. They have now taken over a modern jumping facility near Holdorf, so that Vivien Schockemöhle, in particular, has more time to spend together due to the short distance to the Schockemöhle stable.
In contrast, Joseph Klaphake and Alfons Hermes have been out of the management for quite some time.
The dressage team will also be strengthened effectively, in line with the news of the brilliant Bundeschampionat victory of Escanto PS under Brandi Roenick and the European Championships Final placing of Total Hope OLD with Isabel Freese among the top ten. As of November 1st of this year, Lukas Fischer will be in charge of the dressage department at the sports stable and the breeding station in Mühlen as well as at Lewitz Stud. Together with Paul and Vivien Schockemöhle, Florian Meyer zu Hartum and Andreas Kreuzer, the dressage trainer, who has been successful up to Grand Prix level, will set the course for the future of one of the world’s largest and most successful breeding, training and sales centres.
Lukas Fischer has the best qualifications for this responsible task. The 33-year-old son of the renowned trainer Bernhard Fischer is considered a young horse specialist with victories at the Bundeschampionat and more than 50 victories in advanced (S) level up to Grand Prix level. Together with his wife Tanja Fischer, who also has numerous successes in the dressage saddle, starting with championships, such as the most recent silver at the Bundeschampionat, up to Grand Prix competitions, and who will also join the Schockemöhle trainer team, Lukas Fischer has been running a renowned training and sales stable in Emstek, Lower Saxony, since 2016, which was expanded by an insemination station in 2019, initially only for riding pony stallions, but since this year also with large horse stallions. “We enjoyed our own farm a lot, but we couldn’t refuse Paul Schockemöhle’s offer. We are proud and grateful to be given this opportunity to steer the fortunes of what is probably the most renowned breeding, training and marketing business of all, together with him and his team,” Tanja and Lukas Fischer explain.
First exploratory talks with Paul Schockemöhle had been held about the Champion Stallion Viva Romance PS, who was born at Lewitz Stud and is bred by Tanja and Lukas Fischer. Now the cooperation will be deepened, whereby Fischers will integrate the stallions of their sponsor family Dr. Flock and Voigtlänger into the stallion stock in Mühlen. “With Tanja and Lukas Fischer we can welcome two extremely competent and motivated dressage professionals as new members of our team and are thus excellently positioned for the future,” Paul Schockemöhle is pleased to say.
