Schockemöhle stallions dominate WBFSH rankings of the world’s best sires

It is no secret that the sires of the Schockemöhle stallion station are often found in the pedigrees of medal candidates at the Olympic Games, World and European Championships as well as at World Cup Finals and Nations Cups – and can now be read in black and white in the recently published rankings of the World Breeding Federation WBFSH.

In dressage, there are no fewer than ten sires in the top 20 who are or were sired by the multi-entrepreneur Paul Schockemöhle: starting with Totilas (4th) and San Amour I (8th), Bordeaux (9th), Vivaldi (10th), Vitalis (11th), Fidertanz (12th), Sir Donnerhall I (13th) and Foundation (14th) through to Fürstenball (17th) and the unforgotten Sandro Hit (19th).

The picture is similar for show jumping sires: from 2017 onwards, Chacco-Blue was number one in the WBFSH ranking of the world’s best show jumping sires for six years in a row. As in the previous year, he is currently in second place, followed by Balou du Rouet (14th) and Conthargos (21st). erschienenen Rankings des Weltzuchtverbandes WBFSH nachlesen.

Diarado, who is one of the best sires of show jumpers (15th), once again achieved a special ‘feat’ and was even able to defend the pole position in eventing, which he had already held in the two previous years, once again and by a large margin.

And no, these are not ‘one-day wonders’, because the stallions at Paul Schockemöhle Stud already achieved the impossible in 2021: Sandro Hit and Chacco-Blue led the WBFSH rankings of the world’s best dressage and show jumping sires and Diarado was second among the eventing sires.

An unprecedented success, which Paul Schockemöhle attributes not only to his stallions and his stallion station team, but above all to the breeders. Without their trust in his stallions, but above all without their dedicated, experienced and passionate breeding work, such records would not have been possible.
