The four-year-olds will compete on Wednesday, February 5. The three-year-olds will crown their champion one month later, on Wednesday, March 5. Super performances and suspense will be no coincidence. Many a career already started in Verden in the past years, as these competitions were frequently the stepping stone for international successes later on. Reliable partner of the Hannoveraner Verband at the Free Jumping Competition is the insurance company VGH-Versicherung, supporting the event since it has been held the first time in 1997.

Approx. 60 four- and 100 three-year-olds are expected to come to Verden. They all have one thing in common: They descend from outstanding Hanoverian show jumping lines with their parents being approved in breeding and sports and registered with the Hanoverian Jumper Breeding Program.

Both competitions will start at 9.00 o'clock. The instructors and show jumping riders Dieter Smitz and another experienced show jumping rider will act as judge. They will award scores for style, potential and overall impression and analyze the performances. Besides valuable prizes, the owners of the two best of their age-group will have reason to be happy as they will win a free breeding to an approved show jumping stallion.
