Money, Money, Money in Abu Dhabi!
Prize money for the overall classification for the Global Champions Tour will be offered to the top 18 GCT ranked riders.
With 1 million euros to be dealt out, the riders will be making sure that they are in the best possible positions after the Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The concluding round will be held at the Al Forsan International Sports Resort in Abu Dhabi November 24-26.
The money prize pool takes shape as follows:
1st 300,000 euros
2nd 180,000 euros
3rd 120,000 euros
4th 80,000 euros
5th 60,000 euros
6th & 7th 33,750 euros
8th-11th 20,000 euros
12th-15th 10,000 euros
16th-18th 7,500 euros
Prizes won by competitors who are tied are added and divided equally.
The breakdown of prize money paid out at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is as follows:

Australian Edwina Alexander is the leader oft he GCT Ranking before the last leg in Abu Dhabi with 238 points followed by German Ludger Beerbaum (218,5 points) and Alvaro de Miranda (194 points).
Last year, Marcus Ehning won the GCT and cashed a cheque mounting to 300.000 euros followed by Marco Kutscher and Edwina Alexander. This year, the best chances to become the GCT winner 2011 will probably be Edwina Alexander and Ludger Beerbaum.
