The President of the Rio Equestrian Federation murdered…

The Rio de Janeiro police are investigating the murder of Ibsen Rocha Villaça, aged 39, who was recently appointed as President of Rio de Janeiro’s Equestrian Federation.

Villaça, a well known breeder and horse dealer, was approached by two assailants at a stop sign last Friday and shot in the chest, head and neck. The police suspect that the motive was theft, as a briefcase containing a considerable amount of cash was stolen from Ibsen Villaça´s car.
